What are PVC strip curtains? 

Plastic PVC strip curtains are curtains made of PVC strips of different width, thickness and type, which are usually attached to the beams called hook on track with different overlapping of strips. 

Where to use PVC curtains? 

They were designed as barriers:
- against draft,
- noise,
- dust,
- heat / cold leakage
- but it also works well against insects and birds entering the interior.
They close the hole, but they offer an easy transition through them. 

10 basic PVC curtain rules: 

The wider the PVC strips, the more they are draft-resistant.
The thicker the PVC strips, the more they resist draft due to their weight.
The bigger the overlap between the strips, the more they are draft-resistant.
The bigger the overlap between the strips, the higher the PVC curtain can be mounted.
The narrower the PVC strips, the easier it is for persons to pass through them.
The smaller the overlap between the strips, the easier it is for persons to pass through them. 
The higher the PVC curtain is fixed, the easier it is for persons to pass through them (it is the principle of lower PVC curtains than 220cm). 
The higher the PVC curtain is fixed, the more the overlap of the strips is lost over the floor, as the strips tend to bend into a shell-like shape, especially long strips (typical for curtains above 3-3.5m height).
Soft PVC is harder to freeze, harder PVC produces less friction and less grip. Pay attention to the temperature at which you are using PVC bands. You can use also ribbed PVC strips to decrease friction and grip, especially when using stretch wrap to protect goods on pallets. 
When passing through PVC curtains with forklifts or other vehicle, keep a 50-80cm height reserve due to friction. This means that the height of the vehicle should ideally be 50-80cm lower than the height of the opening.
